Demetri’s Hot Photo Shoot in the Cold

The final paid photo shoot done in a busy, but unproductive (school-wise), reading week break from school. This was done for Demetri who is a talented actor, singer, AND dancer (triple threat!). We ended up walking 45 minutes in the freezing cold in the middle of winter until we found the perfect spot somewhere on the St. George campus of the University of Toronto. This was my favourite shoot of the week as I really got to use my Elichrom Skyport wireless flash triggers as well as my newly bought Nikon SB-26 flash to add to my growing collection of camera toys. I have only had time to edit and post a few but there are more from this series to be posted soon.

Another photo shoot during my week off from school. This time we really experimented when we went outside in freezing cold winter weather to snap one of the photos in this series. See if you can tell which one! The Elinchrom Skyport wireless flash triggering system I bought recently sure helped in this situation. Hopefully soon I can post a detailed user review of them. A Dance Themed Photo Shoot!

Recently I had a week off from school and had the chance to photograph a friend who is also a great dancer! The shoot involved a variety of action packed dance poses/jumps that were really difficult to capture in my basement studio which was limiting in space. A lot of post processing had to be done to get rid of edges that showed my basement and not my studio. Here are some of my favourites from the day:
